From Steven Oliver at 2009-11-29 01:11:31 : Glen, this is actually an Alexander Royale body with an East Lancs Pyoneer upper deck. The bus was new to First Manchester, and lost its original roof in a low-bridge accident when just a few years old. It was sent (rather strangely) to East Lancs, rather than Alexander's, for a new roof hence the rather odd appearance.
